The only woman to ever take Kayla Harrison the distance, one of women lightweight’s most prolific finishers Larissa Pacheco (15-4, 14 finishes) looks to start her 2022 PFL campaign on a high note against newcomer Zamzagul Fayzallanova (7-1-1).
Pacheco got off to a hot start last season, finishing both of her opponents in the first round before missing weight in the playoffs. She’ll look to keep her momentum and finish streak going tonight as she builds toward redemption in this year’s playoffs.
Fayzallanova, a PFL rookie out of Kazakhstan, boasts an impressive record of her own and enters this bout looking to build on a 4 fight win streak. Fayzallanova was actually supposed to face Mariana Morais in a showcase bout last August but was forced out of the bout when Morais got the call to replace Pacheco in the playoffs so there is some history and animosity between these 2 women. Fayzallanova is a 5 time Kazakh national Judo champ and was honored by the Kazakh Ministry of defense as a Sr. Lieutenant in 2018.

1 minute in and Pacheco is just walking Fayzallanova down getting off big damage. Fayzallanova shoots but Pacheco is wise to it and sprawls.
Pacheco keeps her foot on the gas and lands a big right while blitzing, following it up with a left and another right as Fayzallanova crumples and Pacheco pours it on!
